Ficamos sabendo que a campanha internacional Take Back the Tech (que nós chamamos de Retome a tecnologia por aqui), uma iniciativa do Programa de Mulheres da Associação para o Progresso das Comunicações que teve a participação de grupos e pessoas de 15 países em 2007 incluindo o Brasil, ganhou uma menção honrosa na categoria "Comunidades Digitais" do Prix Ars Electronica. Parabéns a tod@s que participaram em 2007!

Aqui vai um trecho da nota que o Programa de Mulheres da APC divulgou no seu site:

Take Back the Tech is built on the principles of collaboration, openness and activism. Many individuals, groups and organisations, motivated by their strong commitment to fight against violence, contributed not only their personal time, but also knowledge, imagination and energy into shaping this campaign. Without the participation of countless individuals who have blogged, disseminated information, shared their ideas, knowledge and skills, taken action and created content, this campaign would not have happened. The Prix Ars Electronica recognition of Take Back the Tech salutes their efforts and passion.
